India is an agricultural country & its future will still depend on it for decades to come. India has still miles to go to be on par with other Asian countries- not to speak of developed countries. And therefore it definitely had a bright future. Remember the former is a professional course as compared to latter & therefore has its own inherent advantages.

I am a student freon Biology stream. So, I can surely say that geology and botany have more scope in India. Geology can take you to so many of private, semi-governmental, and governmental jobs in India with interesting works and salary.
