It is ranked 65 in the list of top colleges of India by 'the week'.
It is well known for its good infrastructure knowledgeable faculty with experience of teaching and many facilities like Wi-Fi Sports Complex and labs with better equipments and machines.
According to the reviews of the students Sastra University placement of B.Tech students in mechanical engineering are not very good. According to the students about 20 to 25% students get placed in the core companies and rest of the students gets placed in the non-core companies which are mass recruiter like TCS, Acce

MIT-Pune is a private college affiliated to the University of Pune and has nice placement record when talking about civil engineering. The average placement is around 4 to 5 LPA and highest reaching up to 13 LPA.

Although, one need not expect a high salary package for CSE students though exceptions may be there, but the chemical engineers have to satisfy themselves for a low starting salary package.
Though the progress and promotions are countless in the field and can be achieved by skilled learning in the undergraduate phase.

It has seen a nice placement scenario for past few years also with the struggling branches such as aerospace.

Although, association with IBM for the computer science course is an added advantage but is nowhere going to help you because of the quality of companies visiting the campus during the placement drive.
Most probably you will get placed in an IT company by the reputed mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Accenture leaving you with no other option but to go for your Master's degree program if and only if yo

a) Physics: HC Verma, DC Pandey, Resnick and Halliday Walker and NCERT.

Physical Chemistry: Remember the formulae and practise the questions. Focus: Thermodynamics.
