The placement at MITM is really good and appreciable, if you are in CS and IT you get placed easily if you do not have any of the back lock and you have skills you will surely get placed.
Now, the college has upgraded to university. So, number of companies coming for placements are more as compared to previous years but the average package is around 4-4.5 Lakhs and around 80-90% of CS/IT student get placed in the following companies.
Major recruiters include TCS, Cognizant, CSC, Amdocs, MuSigma, etc. The jobs offered to the students are mostly in the computer science field, even to the mechanical students. Placements for the year 2016 were horrible though, with various major companies refraining from recruiting from our college.
This is the problem in the college that not too much companies come for placements and the above one come and students have to be get satisfied with them only and make sure it's only for CS and IT students and don't get confused with the other branches. They can also get placements only if they know coding languages and in these companies only, as there are no separate companies for them.

Mechatronics is a specialization in Mechanical Engineering which is used to create and maintain robotic structures using the principles from Mechanical Engineering. Few colleges offer this course as a degree course in B.Tech and few as a post graduate course in M.Tech. I would suggest doing B.tech in ME and then specializing in Mechatronics as Mechanical provides you ample of opportunities if you ever change you mind for Mechatronics. The job opportunities in this sector are few but it is fine as the number of Mechatronics engineers is also less as compared to other branches. You can find job opportunities in Electronics, Automobile, Manufacturing, mining, transport, defense etc. You may also find opportunities in Army, the Navy and the Air force and organisations like the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Some of the profiles you can work for are -Industrial Robots (Operation and Maintenance) and Automation related areas.Avionics and Aeronautics.

Production engineering is a unique branch which includes engineering and management both. It is required in many sectors as such. The main job opportunities are asfollowing -

You can crack any engineering examination in 3 months if you are quite clear over your concepts and have a perfect time management.
However, here are some tips to be followed to get good results in 3 months:
UPTU/UPSEE examination requires different approach for preparation. The level of questions asked in this examination is moderate. Some of the questions are even repeated from previous year question papers. It also happens that in UPSEE/UPTU examination some questions are asked from JEE Main Paper. So, it is very important to solve as many previous years question paper as you can. You should also solve IIT JEE Mains last 5 year's question paper.
Go through the previous year question papers. As if you start its preparation 3 months before then it's better to go through last 20 years previous papers which are available at any stationary shop and revise your 11th and 12th standard books.
For physics: - It's better to opt those books which contain different types of questions. No need to work over HC Verma. 40 days preparation for UPSEE from Arihant text book and previous year's papers from Arihant will be helpful.
For chemistry:- P. Bahadur and Ranjeet Shahi are good as they contain a lot of questions as well as they also carry the questions according to the level of difficulty.
For maths: - Mathematics for UPSEE, it would be better to go for R.K Sharma (MCQ) and previous years papers from Arihant.

Choosing the right coaching institute is really important. Consider following factors while making a decision-
1. Look up at the records of the coaching institutes for past few years. See if the numbers are steady or fluctuating too much. If numbers are fluctuating too much it means that the coaching institute is not able to meet the requirements of everyone.
2. Very important - Talk to the students in the coaching personally and get their reviews about it.
See how the coaching treats everyone. A good coaching should give attention to every student. It is the case in many institutes that toppers are given special attention while average students are neglected.
There is no problem in giving special attention to toppers but in this process other students shouldn't been harmed.
3. Location also is a very important factor. See if you will be able to stay in a hostel for two years and study properly or would prefer coaching in your own city.
4. Research - Do it properly before taking admission in any coaching institute.

Placements: Placements are 100% for the computer science branch. The highest package in India was 35 LPA and the lowest package for CS in India was 12 LPA. The average salary comes out to be around 22 LPA. This is very close to previous year's average too. Top shot companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Directi, Adobe, Samsung, HP, Visa, etc. to the newest startups like Nutanix, Crowdfire, etc. were among the recruiters. The roles offered mainly include software development and very rarely testing roles are given.
BITS, Pilani is an amazing place to complete your graduation. Your campus life will fill you up with memories that will last a lifetime.
Pros:

5. Infrastructure has improved a lot. By 2016-17, most hostels will be best in the country.
Cons:
1. Syllabus seems a little outdated.
2. Less research.
3. Not all faculty is supportive, though this maybe the case everywhere.
4. Weather is very tough to adjust too. Power cuts in summers add to your woes.
5. Administrative offices are pretty much like government offices. Work is slow and painful to get done though some officials are helpful.
6. Pretty far away from civilization. Nearest city is Delhi/Jaipur, both 200Km away. However, this is also a good thing, as you spend more time in the college, which somehow I believe helps in the long run.
