Royal Global University commonly known as Assam Royal Global University is located in Guwahati. The university has many courses right from undergraduate to PhD programs in various branches. Indian Institute of Technology at Guwahati was established in 1994 in Guwahati in Assam. This was established so that students of seven sisters get an IIT nearer to their home.
