Shivaji University Admission Process

Shivaji University, located in Kolhapur, was established in 1962. The university is accredited with Grade A by the NAAC. The university affiliates 276 colleges that are spread over three districts of Maharashtra, namely, Kolhapur, Sangli, and Satara. Shivaji Uiversity has better infrstruture than most of DU's colleges. As for the placements, the university offers a decent placements package for its professonal cousres. In 2023, a total of 1291 students enrolled and 25 students were placed during Shivaji University placements 2023.

For example, for the BTech programme, the eligibility is 45-50 % in class 12 in the relevant stream. Therefore, with 95% in class 12th, you are eligible for admission to Shivaji College. The admission process for Shivaji College is completely online. For undergraduate courses, admission is based on the marks scored in class 12t. The admission process for postgraduate courses is based on both merit and entrance test. The college conducts Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for UG courses and Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) for PG courses.
