Both of the universities, Sanjay Godawat and Shivaji University, offer BCom courses for the duration of three to four years. The eligibility requirements to get admission into these universities are almost similar, in that candidates are required to complete their Class 12 from a recognised board of education with decent scores. The selection process for BBA at Shivaji University is merit-based. However, for BBA at SGU Kolhapur, candidates are required to attain a non-zero score in either MAH BBA CET or PERA CET.

The total tuition fee for BCom courses at Sanjay Godawat University is INR 3.1 lakh. On the other hand, the total tuition fee for BCom courses at Shivaji University ranges from INR 5,200 - INR 31,800. Hence, it clearly can be seen that Sanjay Godawat University is more affordable than Shivaji University for BCom courses. However, the fee structure can be only one component that candidates consider while comparing institutes, but several factors can be taken into account while choosing the best university/college, such as placement packages, seats, ranking of that particular institute, affiliation, accreditation, etc.&nbs

Both of the universities, Sanjay Godawat and Shivaji, are located in Kolhapur and offer BA courses in different specialisation. The eligibility requirements to get admission into these universities are almost similar, in that candidates are required to complete their Class 12 from a recognised board of education with decent scores, and the selection process is based on merit. However, the major difference that makes the admission process hard or easier is that Shivaji University is a public university. Whereas Sanjay Godawat University is a private university. Therefore, getting admission into Shivaji University can be slightly tougher

Shivaji University admits students to its BSc courses based on both merit in Class 12 and score in the entrance test. The selection criteria vary depending on the choice of specialisation. The eligibility criteria for the BArch course at Shivaji University is that candidates should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate. The duration of the course is for five years. The entrance exams accepted include NATA/ JEE Main (Paper 2)/ MHT CET. Moreover, the fees for Shivaji University BArch course range between INR 2.25 Lacs - INR 6.05 lakh.
