The Shivaji University eligibility is fairly simple. Students need to clear the basic eligibility to get admission in the university. The common eligibility is as below:

  • Shivaji University UG eligibility – Class 12 with relevant subjects from a recognised board
  • Shivaji University PG eligibility – UG degree in relevant field from a recognised university
  • Shivaji University PhD eligibility – PG degree from a recognised university

IELTS or TOEFL is not mandatory for admission to Universities like Shivaji Pune or Osmania University. Osmania University admission to PG, PG Diploma, and five-year Integrated courses is through its entrance test called Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET). CPGET is an online Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates who have passed class 12 in the Science stream with 45% to 50% aggregate are eligible for the BDes programme at Shivaji University. Admission to the BDes is based on candidates' performance in the last qualifying exam. Shivaji University offers BDes Courses in Interior Design,  Furniture Design,  Product Design, and Set Design.

Candidates who have twelve years of school education with 40% to 50% aggregate are eligible for the Shivaji University BSc programme. Candidates seeking admission to BSc at Shivaji University can apply for the course by submitting an application form online. Admission to BSc is entrance exam-based.

For admission to the BTech programme at Shivaji University Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in the aggregate,  also candidates must have appeared for any one of the entrance exams such as JEE Main/ MHT CET/ Uni GAUGE-E to be eligible for admission.

The eligibility criteria for the BArch course at Shivaji University is that candidates should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate. The duration of the course is for five years. The entrance exams accepted include NATA/ JEE Main (Paper 2)/ MHT CET. Moreover, the fees for Shivaji University BArch course range between INR 2.25 Lacs - INR 6.05 lakh. Further, for admission to these courses, candidates need to apply online by visiting the official website.

Basic eligibility to secure admission for Integrated B.Sc + M.Sc in Nanoscience and Technology in Shivaji University is that candidate should have a minimum pass mark of 45% in class 12. Candidate must have passed 10+2 in Science stream.
Final year appearing candidates can also apply on provisional basis.
Those Candidates who belongs to other state will have to score minimum 55% marks in 10+2.
Final Selection
Candidates are selected based on Shivaji University entrance exam score and marks obtained in 10+2.
Selection parameters and weightage :
Entrance Exam Score- 50%
10+2 exam score - 50%
