Students applying for a student visa in Singapore must provide a proof of financial stability in the form of a banker's guarantee or cashier's order of a minimum of SGD 5,000 (INR 3.2 L).

Further students must also possess the below documents to attain a student visa:

  • A current passport with a minimum validity of 3 months
  • Originial receipt of the payment of visa application fee
  • Invitation letter by the university
  • Transcripts of education attended in India, such as degrees, diplomas & certificates

 Given below is the step-by-step Singapore work visa process for Indian students:

  • Step 2- Visit the official website of the Ministry of Manpower of Singapore to apply. Your employer will do this process.

The cost of singapore student visa application is SGD 30. Students also need to pay SGD 60 as Student Visa Issuance Fee when they will reach Singapore for higher studies. Students can pay this fees online through the Student's Pass Online Application and Registration (SOLAR) system.

Hi Jagadeesh, you are advised to check the UGC website for a list of approved distance education universities in India, if it is approved by UGC you have little to worry but also it will depend on the college or university you are applying to.
