APSET 2018 Eligibility:
APSET 2018 eligibility criteria which aspirants need to fulfil in order to be eligible to appear for the entrance exam is as mentioned below:
Candidates should have secured a minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) in their Master's degree or equivalent exam from any university/college that is recognised by UGC. Aspirants belonging to reserved categories such as OBC (non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PwD are eligible to apply if they have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate in their Master's degree or equivalent exam. Aspirants who are appearing for their Master's degree final year exam and whose exam result is awaited can also apply for APSET exam. But such aspirants will be offered provisional admission and they need to submit their exam result details at the time of admission. Candidates who possess a Ph.D. degree and who have completed their Master's level examination by September 19, 1991 (irrespective of date when the result is declared) will be eligible for 5% relaxation in aggregate marks (that is, from 55% to 50%) for appearing in APSET exam. The official website informs that, Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their post-graduation only. The candidates, whose post-graduation subject is not covered in the list of subjects may appear in a related subject. SET Eligibility Criteria for appearing in SET 2018
Candidates must have passed class 12th or 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one subject from Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational. In the qualifying examination (12th or 10+2), General category candidates must have secured minimum 45% aggregate marks, while reserved category candidates should have at least 40% marks. Besides the aforesaid eligibility conditions, the candidates are required to have appeared and qualify in SET 2018 or JEE Main 2018 or MHTCET 2018. Regards.

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common written test conducted for admissions to various undergraduate programme offered by Institutes of Symbiosis International Deemed University. Through SET, the engineering aspirants can take admission into Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), which offer courses in Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering.nSET 2018 is an aptitude test with objective type questions for all the papers. It is conducted in two sessions for FIVE courses including Law, Designing, Engineering, Health Science, and general courses. The duration for SET 2018 exam is 150 minutes. There is no negative marking for wrong answers and all sections are mandatory.
