SET Eligibility Criteria for appearing in SET 2018
Candidates must have passed class 12th or 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one subject from Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational. In the qualifying examination (12th or 10+2), General category candidates must have secured minimum 45% aggregate marks, while reserved category candidates should have at least 40% marks. Besides the aforesaid eligibility conditions, the candidates are required to have appeared and qualify in SET 2018 or JEE Main 2018 or MHTCET 2018. Regards.

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common written test conducted for admissions to various undergraduate programme offered by Institutes of Symbiosis International Deemed University. Through SET, the engineering aspirants can take admission into Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), which offer courses in Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering.nSET 2018 is an aptitude test with objective type questions for all the papers. It is conducted in two sessions for FIVE courses including Law, Designing, Engineering, Health Science, and general courses. The duration for SET 2018 exam is 150 minutes. There is no negative marking for wrong answers and all sections are mandatory.
