The quality of hostel food is average in SKIET, Shri Krishan institute of Engineering and Technology.The hostel mess provides breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Hostel infrastructure is good and even room are categorized to accommodate single and multiple students in one room.Hostel facilities are quite good.The rooms are average and feasible.

Candidates seeking direct admissions through Management Quota must have appeared on any of the entrance exams of national level.

Admissions to the Engineering and Diploma courses are done on the basis of counselling conducted by HSTES (formerly, HSCS).

Candidates applying for Lateral Entry must appear for Haryana LEET (Lateral Entry Entrance Test) conducted by HSTES.

Candidates with valid JEE Main/GATE/DET scores (Engineering) must register themselves online for counselling on the HSTES website.

According to SKIET students, they have very different opinions.According to some students all Faculty Members And Teachers Are Well Qualified All Teachers Have B.Tech Mtech Level Teachers And their Teaching Method is excellent.For All Students, Teachers Take Regularly Tests And Labs.

According to some students lecturers only focused on theory not on practical.

Overall impression of this college is that the faculty members are highly qualified and professional.

Getting admission into SKIET is moderately tough because it's a good engineering college in Haryana, and a lot of candidates try to get into the college, but the process of getting admissions is merit-based; that is, you need to have good academic scores and possibly perform well in entrance exams to get a seat in the college.
