* Candidate must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
* The candidate can be from any stream Science, Commerce or Arts & Humanities.
* The minimum cut-off is 50% (45% for reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBCs)
* While the admissions are conducted on the basis of merit, a handful of them conducts an entrance exam which is followed by a personal interview round. All the best.

Psychology has a better career scope as compared to Sociology. The demand for psychologists is more. It also depends that in which field you are interested in. You should always proceed with the field in which you have interest.
