Before CUET, the university had its own entrance exam and interview for admission. From the previous year, they began accepting CUET marks for addmission. The cutoff for MA sociology ranged between 230 and 240 for the unreserved category.

To get admission:

A) Candidates who have 3 years/4 years Bachelor's degree can apply for an MA in IIT Bombay.

B) Candidates must meet the minimum percentage criterion in their qualifying degree as per the institute norms (GN/EWS/OBC-NC 60% and SC/ST/PwD 55%; or a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)/Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 6.0 on the scale of 0-10; or an equivalent to 6.0 or other corresponding.

The eligibility criteria of PG Diploma in Gender and Women’s Studies is that candidates should have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised University with 50% and 45% in case of SC/ST. The total fees of PG Diploma in Gender and Women’s Studies is INR 14,450.

To pursue BA (Psychology, Mass Communication & Journalism, Sociology) through PUCAT, candidates should have Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) with a minimum aggregate score of 40% for UR/OBC and 33% for SC/ST. Yes sure you can take BA in sociology as a course for your graduation. If you are appearing for CUET than you only need 3 domains that you have studied in 12, thats it . You can get this course
