Candidates willing to take admission at Department of Library and Information Science (DLIS) for Certificate courses must present the documents as specified by the department at the time of admission. The admission is finalised only after the specified documents are physically verified by the department. Failing to submit the required documents within the stipulated time leads to the cancellation of provisonal admission. Listed below are the documents required during the admission process:

To secure admission to the BTech programme at Somaiya Vidyavihar University, candidates should begin by completing the pre-admission form online. This form can be accessed on the university's website, and an application fee of INR 2,000 for the undergraduate programme pre-admission form will be applicable. Subsequently, candidates will be required to appear for the Common University Entrance Test Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT)/ JEE-Main/ Common University Entrance Test/ MHT-CET/ PERA-CET and any relevant national entrance exams. Based on the achieved scores, the university released a merit list.
