Both Clemson & University of Illiinois are considered part of the best universities in respective regions. However, both these institutions are to varying degrees, selective, when it comes to granting admissions to students.

The Clemson University has an acceptance rate of around 31.2% while that of University of Illinois at Chicago is around 79%. Thus, it can be inferred that securing a seat at University of Illinois is relatively much easier than doing so at Clemson.
