The result is declared based on the final answer key for the exam after considering valid objections and incorporating them into the final result. Staff Selection Commission forms a review committee to consider the objections raised by the candidates. After considering the valid objections, this committee suggest the changes required in the answer key and marks to be awarded against the correct answer of such questions.

The Commission released the SSC CGL Tier 1 Final Answer Key on January 9, 2026.

The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC CGL Main Answer Key 2023 (tentative) on October 30. The candidates were asked to submit their objections (with the fee of INR 100) till November 1. The Commission conducted the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam 2023 on October 26 and 27.
