Both the IBPS Clerk and the SSC CGL exams cover similar topics such as: General English Quantitative Aptitude Reasoning Ability General Awareness (including current events and static general knowledge) However, there are some differences in the emphasis placed on certain topics between the two exams. There are three main components of the SSC CGL eligibility. These are

  • Nationality
  • Educational Qualification
  • Age limit.

All the posts in the SSC CGL exam are open to the Citizens of India. To apply for the SSC CGL exam, the candidate must be a Graduate of a recognised university or institution. Apart from the citizenship and educational qualification, the candidates are required to fulfil the age limit and nationality criteria to appear in the exam.

SSC CGL Tier 1 result 2022 was released online on February 9, 2023. The Staff Selection Commission releases the SSC CGL Cutoff and the number of candidates selected for the next stage. The Commission releases three SSC CGL Tier 1 result pdfs, each for one of the post groups. The Commission released the tentative answer key on December 17, 2022, and Tier 1 exam was completed on December 13, 2022.

The Staff Selection Commission conducted the SSC CGL Tier 2 Paper 1 from March 2 to 7 except on March 4. The SSC CGL Tier 2 Paper 2 and Paper 3 were conducted on March 4 for all eligible candidates. SSC CGL Tier 2 Admit card was released from February 27 onwards at the regional sites. The SSC CGL Tier 2 Shift Timing is Given Below:
Shift 1 for Paper 1: 9.00 AM to 11.15 AM
Shift 2 for Skill Test: 2.00 PM to 2.40 PM
Shift 1 for Paper 2: 9.00 AM to 11.00 AM
Shift 2 for Paper 3: 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM.

Yes, the SSC CGL 2022 final answer key has been released. The Commission also released the SSC CGL final marks and scorecards of the candidates. The answer key and marks will be available till June 12 (4.00 PM) to download. The Commission suggested downloading the answer key and scorecard for future reference as it would not be available after the said date.
Earlier, the SSC CGL Mains answer key 2022 (tentative) was released online on March 14 at the official website of the SSC. The Commission released the official link for the candidates to download the official answer key, check their answers and calculate their raw marks in SSC CGL T

The SSC CGL result 2021 (final) was released online on March 17, 2023. The Commission released the roll number of the qualified candidates. The Commission selected 7,541 candidates for appointment purposes. The Commission released the marks of the candidates on March 23. The last date to check and download the SSC CGL mark sheet is April 6, 2023. SSC CGL 2023 exam applications are going on and the candidates can fill out the SSC CGL 2023 applications till May 3.

The Commission notifies various posts for the SSC CGL exam. Each post has a different work profile and the age limit also differs most of the time. SSC CGL age limit differs as per the post applied. However, candidates should be a minimum of 18 years of age to apply for any SSC CGL post. The upper age limit differs from post to post. The eligibility conditions for SSC CGL 2024 exam were mentioned in the official notification. Candidates who are graduates in any stream and fulfil the age limit could apply for the CGL exam. The Commission releases the official age limit, educational qualification and other eligibility conditions in the official notification. The Commission released the official notification on June 24 and the last date to apply for the exam is July 24. The SSC CGL 2024 exam will be conducted from in September/October 2024.

The SSC CGL 2023 exam dates were released online on March 29. The Commission conducted the SSC CGL 2023 exam from July 14 to 27. The SSC CGL notification 2023 was released on April 3. The last date to apply online for the SSC CGL 2023 exam is May 3. The Commission will provide the SSC CGL application correction facility from May 7 and 8. The Commission conducted the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam in multiple shifts at the designated exam centres online.
