Dear aspirant,
It's great connecting with you. A stenographer is mostly attached to a senior officer. He has to write the officer's speech in steno and then have to type the same. Jobs of Stenographer Grade C are in the Department of central government or Ministry. The job location is mainly in Delhi. Jobs of Stenographer Grade D are under two groups :
Group X: For Ministries departments under the central government, mostly in Delhi. Group Y: For offices under central government including attached or subordinated offices locates in states and union territories.

Hello dear, You can prepare for all together but the syllabus and pattern is different for different exam. Selection Procedure Phase-I: Preliminary Examination : NIACL
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. Candidates have to qualify in each test/section by securing passing marks to be decided by the Company. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Company (approximately 15 times the numbers of vacancies subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Examination.
