SSC CPO

The SSC CPO exam is conducted in multiple shifts at designated centers. To ensure fairness, SSC applies a normalization process to the raw scores. The normalization formula, which SSC has released, adjusts the final marks to account for any differences in difficulty across shifts.

There are negative marks in SSC CPO exam. 0.25 marks are deducted for wrong answers in the exam. For correct answers, candidates score one mark. Candidates are advised to marks their answers properly in the exam to avoid negative markings.

For correct answers in SSC CPO Paper 1 exam, candidates score one mark. For incorrect answers, 0.25 marks are deducted. The total marks of candidates are calculated based on the correct and incorrect responses. Normalisation of marks are done to adjust the difficulty level of the question papers across various shifts. Result is announced based on the normalised marks.

SSC CPO exam duration for CBT 1 is two hours. There are no sectional timings in the exam.

There are negative marking for wrong answers in SSC CPO exam. The marking scheme is given below.

• There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper 1 and 2. Earlier, the negative marking was one-third.
• For the correct answer, candidates score one mark
• Marks scored by candidates is normalised to prepare the result

A total of 228 vacancies were announced for SI in Delhi Police-Male, 112 for Female and 3960 in CAPF. 

In 2023. a total of 1876 vacancies were announced for Sub Inspector in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Sub Inspector (Exe.) in Delhi Police. The vacancies were announced for both male and female candidates.
