Here are the reservation rules for SSC JE (Junior Engineer) recruitment by Staff Selection Commission (SSC):
- There is reservation for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as per government norms.
- For SC category, the reservation is 15 per cent.
- For ST category, the reservation is 7.5 per cent
- For OBC category, the reservation is 27 per cent of total vacancies (The creamy layer criteria is not applicable for SSC JE posts)
