SSC JHT Paper 1 is a Computer Based Test having multiple-choice questions. It consists of two sections- General English and General Hindi. In Paper-I questions will be designed to test the candidates understanding of the languages and literature, correct use of words, phrases and idioms and ability to write the languages correctly and precisely. The questions will be of degree level. Each section has 100 questions and the total time duration is 2 hours. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The structure of SSC JHT exam pattern is given below.

SSC JHT age limit is 18 to 30. The relaxation in the upper age limit provided to candidates is given below:

Candidates for RRB ALP exam should be Class 10 pass. Candidates aged between 18 to 30 years can apply for the exam. RRB ALP registration form can be filled online only. The application fee can be paid online.

SSC JHT application fees for General and OBC categories are INR 100. The application fees for SC/ST/PwD/ESM candidates are exempted from fee payment. The application fees can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card or in cash at SBI Branches by generating the Challan.

SSC JHT application form 2025 was released on June 5. The last date to fill application form was June 26. Only online applications were accepted for the exam. Candidates were not required to the send the hard copy of the application form to the exam body.
