Once the objection deadline is closed, the objections submitted by candidates is reviewed by the subject-matter experts. If the objections are found to be correct, the examination authority revises the answers and publish the final answer key. On the basis of the final answer key, SSC JHT result is calculated. SSC use normalisation of marks to calculate the scores. This is done to adjust any variation in the difficulty level of the question papers across various shifts.

SSC has decided to normalize SSC JHT scores of candidates to take into account any variation in the difficulty levels of the question papers across different shifts since the exam is conducted in multiple sessions. The normalization is done based on the fundamental assumption that in multi-shift exam, the distribution of abilities of candidates is the same across all the shifts.
