SSC JHT 2024 exam was conducted on December 9, 2024. The exam is divided into two papers-1 and 2. Paper 1 is held in computer-based mode, whereas Paper 2 is held in offline mode. Paper 1 comprises objective-type multiple-choice questions. Questions in the paper are asked from two sections-General English and General Hindi. Paper 2 comprises descriptive-type questions from Translation and Essay.

- There are questions in this section on the identification of grammatical errors, para jumbles, synonyms, antonyms, sentence errors, cloze test, reading comprehension, fill in the blanks, error spotting, etc.
- Candidates need to revise and build their vocabulary as well as the basic grammar rules. The perfect way to do it is to read newspapers, magazines and books and practice basic grammar questions.

SSC JHT Paper 2 carried descriptive questions. This paper consists of translation and essay writing questions. In translation, candidates will be asked to translate one Hindi passage to English and one English passage to Hindi language. In essay writing, candidates have to write one essay in Hindi and one in English. It will help to test the candidates' translation skills and their ability to write as well as comprehend the two languages correctly. The structure of SSC JHT Paper 2 is given below.
