The steps to check SSC Stenographer result are given below:

• Visit the official SSC website

• Navigate to the “Results” section.

• Click on the “Steno 'C' & 'D'” tab.

• Download the result PDF for Grade C or Grade D

• Open the PDF and use “Ctrl+F” to search for your Name or Roll Number

The result displays the following details.

The scores of both qualified and non-qualified candidates are released a few days after the declaration of result. Candidates can access their scorecard by logging with user ID and password. The scorecard can be downloaded within the time-frame fixed by the examination authority. The scorecard displays the section-wise and total scores obtained by the candidates. 

A total of 6728 candidates appeared in the Stenography Skill  Test for the post of Stenographer Grade 'C' and 18646 candidates appeared in the Stenography Skill Test for the post of Stenographer Grade 'D'. A total of 15372 candidates had submitted their preference online and have been considered for further selection process. A total of 215 candidates under Grade C and 1908 under Grade D have been recommended for the recruitment process.

SSC Stenographer final result 2024 was announced on July 11, 2025. The result was announced on the official website in PDF form. The result PDF comprises the roll numbers of qualified candidates. Qualified candidates have been recommended for appointment.

SSC Stenographer is not Gazetted posts. Candidates are recruited to the Grade C and D. These are lower level posts, hence, cannot be Gazetted.
