Yes, for some programs like the Master's in Management programs, Rennes requires the aptitude tests like the GMAT or the GRE. But for other programs in Business and Management, it is not generally required.

The other considerations are given more priority like -

  • Your academic background
  • Performance in the school's own test
  • English language proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL or PTE

As per an unofficial source, yes an English waiver is possible for Indian students only if the programs in the previous education were taught completely in English.

However, if it does not happen, the Indian students may take the English tests like IELTS or TOEFL and they will then be considered valid for English proficiency.

The minimum scores in these exams are given below -

  • IELTS: 6.0 or above
  • TOEFL iBT: 80 or above
  • TOEIC: 750 or above

The best way to check if 95% marks are equal to a CGPA of 10 is to apply the Percentage to CGPA formula.

So, CGPA = Percentage / 9.5

Thus, CGPA = 95/9.5 = 10

So, yes. 95% equals 10 CGPA

To convert percentage into CGPA, we will the formula-

CGPA = Percentage/9.5

Hence, CGPA of 70% marks would be: CGPA = 70/9.5 = 7.4

Hence, 70% in CGPA would be equal to 7.4.
