Over 900 courses are offered at the University of Manchester for international students to pursue. Most of these courses are open for application in the September intake at both the levels (UG and PG). 

The September intake offers courses in Engineering, Humanities, Medicine, Business etc. All of these are highly competitive courses

On the other hand, in the January intake, very limited and specific courses are only available porgrams.

Indian students can get into the Technical University of Munich PhD programme by submitting proof of their qualification, work proof, and a GPA score. Students have to submit LOR, essay, SOP, transcripts, resume, and English language requirements.

Technical University of Munich provides a 3-4-year PhD programme to international students. These programs are available in the different school of TUM. The programs is available through Graduate school of TUM, or TUM school of Management or more based on the program. The first-year tuition fee is nil for international students. The most chosen field by Indians is Management.

Yes. Living in Ireland is costlier for Indian students than living in India. Annual living expenses in Ireland range from €10,000 to €15,000. This, however, can be managed by students by renting shared accommodations, eating home-cooked food, limiting eating outside, budgeting monthly expenses, cutting window shopping, using public transport to travel to places and taking part time jobs.

It is not easy to get into the University of Manchester from India as the acceptance rate is only around 39%. To get in, Indian students would require accepted and recognised qualifications like the students will be considered for a direct entry of they are pursuing A levels or the IB.

Look at the list of University of Manchester admission requirements given below - 

  • CBSE or ICSE Board marksheets with 80 to 95% overall
  • Students should have 70% overall with min. of Mathematics and Physics & 65% in English
  • English language proficiency with tests such as IELTS, TOEFL iBT
  • Statement of purpose
  • Letters of recommendation
