Indian students at Polimi University can work part-time. On-campus, students can work for up to 200 hours per year. Students can also work off-campus. In other words, non-European citizens can work for a maximum of 20 hours per week, while studying at Polimi University. As per the Graduate Survey 2025 employment survey, the job outcomes rate for Polimi University's Masters' graduates is 97% one year after graduation and 99% after 5 years. Whereas, for the Bachelor's students, the placement rate is around 94%. The average salary of the Master's graduates is around EUR 1,944 per month (Around INR 2 L).

Best countries to live and work for Indians in 2026 are determined by economic and geopolitical stability and the bilateral ties of these countries with India. Traditionally preferred countries like Canada and Australia continue to hold their positions. The USA and the UK on the other hand, pose threat for Indians as visa issuance and retention is a big challenge now. Both these countries aim for reduced net migration; thus they have introduced tighter visa guidelines. Resultingly, top countries to live and work for Indians in 2026 are China, Germany, Ireland and UAE.
