No, Tarleton State is not known to offer full scholarships to international students.

However, it does offer a number of scholarships with varying rewards, & eligibility requirements. A couple of popular ones are given below:

  • PELL grant eligible candidates are given first preference followed by those who demonstrate financial need

Scott Summy Pre-Law Scholarship

  • Must be pursuing legal studies, political Science with emphasis on legal studies & or international studies as the major
  • Must maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Must have finished in the top 25 percent of high school class

  • Must enroll in 15 hours per long semesters

First-year freshman students are required to live as part of on-campus accommodation facilities, unless they are approved for an exemption to live off-campus by the university authorities.

Tarleton maintains 10 residential halls & 1 apartments-based village as part of its on-campus facilities offering all important facilities such as high-speed internet, beds, couches, desk & chair, air conditioning & heating as well as exclusive access to fitness centres & parking spaces.

A course load of 12 hours for undergraduate students & 9 hours for graduate students is deemed full-time at Tarleton State University. The TSU course fee is estimated on the basis of the overall range of hours that make up the duration of the course.

Tarleton State University acceptance rate of 57-61%, places it among the list of institutes that can be described as “fairly selective”, accepting on average about 6 applications for every 10 it receives.

Salisbury University, on the other hand, with an 86% acceptance rate is much less selective & relatively easier to secure admissions at.

Interested applicants are advised to maintain a solid academic record to secure admissions at either institute.
