Yes, the Central Michigan Uni is one of the top public universities in Michigan. It ranks among the top 300 universities in the US as part of the US News & World Report rankings of 2026. Among National Universties, it sits at #283.
The university also ranks #254 for UG Business courses. As for PG Business courses, the Central Michigan University MBA ranking in the US is #201.

The PGDM admissions at Aurora's Business School are based on entrance exams like CAT/XAT/MAT/XLRI. Moreover, students can also appear for AMAT exam conducted by university. The exam is conducted both online and offline mode. The selection is based on entrance merit score, GD & PI and qualities like communication skills, English proficiency, etc.

No, PGDM cannot be completed in one-year. However, the institute offers an Executive course. The course duration is 15 months. Moreover, other courses like PGDM Core and Marketing course is offered for two-years. Further, the part-time course duration is three years. Admissions in all courses are based on entrance merit scores.

The Central Michigan University usually takes around 6 weeks to share an admission decision after receiving a completed application. UG students may receive their decisions faster, while students applying for courses particularly at the College of Medicine may take longer.
Students are advised to follow up if they have not heard back from the university within a month.
