Extracurricular activities are very important to get a seat at CMU Pittsburgh. It serves as a key indicator for "passion" and how invested a student is towards their area of study.
For STEM fields, research, publications, and projects are given very high importance. For Business courses, experience in leadership roles or event organisation and management is highly valued.

At Boston University for their MPH courses, Indian students are awarded with 48 credits on-campus.
It can take up to 5 years to complete the Master's in Public Health course from BU. It is to be noted that students on F1 visa are required to enroll full-time (12+ credits) every semester.

No, you cannot join Jindal Global Business School without an entrance exam if you want admission to the MBA course. For admission to the management courses, the institute accepts various national-level exams, like
- CAT
- MAT
- ATMA
- GMAT
- NMAT
- XAT
- CMAT
