As per the rules and regulations of the Singapore Government, international students are allowed to work a maximum of 16 hours per week during the course of their studies. 

During holidays or semester breaks, however, international students are allowed to work full-time.

While NUS-ISS is not known to maintain accommodation services of its own, students who wish to live on campus as part of the National University of Singapore can expect to incur a monthly cost of around SGD 1,300-SGD 3,400 (INR 87.9 K-INR 2.3 L), depending on the type of accommodation. 

The cost above includes: rent, food, books and supplies, transportation, and other miscellaneous personal expenses.

The NUS-ISS acceptance fee is a non-refundable and non-transferable transaction to be made by students upon acceptance of their admission offer, to confirm their seat at the institute. 

The fee worth SGD 5,450 (INR 3.72 L), inclusive of GST, would be credited towards the final tuition fees

Courses at NUS-ISS are much shorter in duration and more affordable as compared to those offered in the USA or UK. Asia's growing tech markets also offer easier networking opportunities to students, while the visa requirements are not as strict either. 

All in all, NUS-ISS is a great choice for Indian students looking for a more cost-effective path to the IT industry.

Yes, demonstrating English language proficiency is mandatory for Indian students and as a result they are required to submit a valid score in the IELTS or TOEFL exam

The minimum IELTS score deemed acceptable by the university is 6.0, while the minimum acceptable TOEFL scores are:  580 in Paper-based, 237 in Computer-based, and 85 in Internet-based format.

Note: The institute does not accept IELTS-Home Edition scores.

NUS ISS can be deemed moderately expensive for Indian students planning to study there. The average tuition cost stands at SGD 38,650-SGD 60,822 (INR 26.42 L-INR 41.59 L) per year. 

Students must also take into account the cost of living in Singapore, which includes accommodation, utilities, books and supplies, and other costs.
