UMass Boston aims to unite the community through Desi culture and events and create a family environment for desi students away from home. The university wants to encourage the university's students to see different cultures and experience the traditional events. Graduate applicants thinking to apply to UMass at Boston should have a 2.75 GPA in all Undergraduate work. A Bachelor's degree is required to apply to this university. For UG applicants, as such, the minimum GPA has not been mentioned. A few of the documents required to apply are:

International students at UMass Boston are eligible for part-time work.
