Based on the unofficial data, international students make up nearly 52% of the total student body, which can be considered a good number of students from overseas at this university.  The total number of international students is 2,146.

If an Indian student is aspiring to take admission to Illinois Tech, they can find a huge community of international students at this university.

International students need to meet the Illinois Institute of Technology admission requirements however, an interview isn't one of them. There are other eligibility requirements, such as a good GPA, like 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, for most of the master's courses.

Students can refer to the list of eligibility requirements:

    • Official high school/secondary school transcripts.

    • Standardized test scores (SAT/ACT) if applicable (some test-optional policies may apply).

    • Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, or PTE minimum scores).

    • Letters of recommendation.

    • Personal statement or essay as required by the program.

    • Valid passport cop

For admission abroad after BTech, most universities require a mix of entrance and language tests. There is not a single exam which you can appear.

  • GRE/GMAT are common for MS, MEng, or MBA programs (especially in the US, some EU countries).
  • For English proficiency, IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo or PTE are widely accepted.
  • Some countries (e.g., Germany) may also require TestAS or proof of local language basics.
