Yes, Uni Tokyo is safe for Indian students. The campus security guards patrol the campus. The Inbound Medical Assistance Services (IMAS) is also available 24/7 to those in need of urgent medical help.  Counselling and mental health services are there for those who need it.

Students can apply for housing at UTokyo via the OSTA platfom. The university offers both private and shared housing for students as part of its residence halls. Applications for housing are usually accepted either during January (for April move-in) or June/July (for September/October move-in).

Yes, Indian food is available at UTokyo but in limited quantity. The UTokyo Co-op dining halls serve Indian food. There are plenty of Indian food places near the UTokyo campus. Some popular ones are mentioned below.
