Yes it is mandatory to get following insurance before arriving to Denmark:

  • Travel insurance to ensure that student is able to return to it's home country.

  • Home and Liability insurance to cover any case of theft, water damage, fire etc. 

  • Accident insurance

Yes, a relative can pick housing keys, however he must carry following information with him:

  • Name of the student and the relative who will pick the keys

  • BDTU address, including room/apt number

  • A copy of student's passport

Student need to submit a registration application, dates starting from March 1, 2026 for those applying for fall intake and October 1, 2026 for those applying in Spring intake. Allotment shall begin in May and November respectively. Students are advised to sumit their applications as early as possible to avoid rejections. On-campus housing is available for only a fixed period, which is, either 1 semester or 2 or 4 semesters.

Indian Students society at the Uni of Bath is one of the biggest cultural societies on-campus and together this university celebrates the festivals and cultures across India. It hosts events like Bollywoord Nights, Garba, Diwali, Henna / Rangoli workshops, etc.. It also hold weekly football and badminton sessions. It also organizes Indian food potlucks.

International students of the Uni of Bath can work part-time. However, their working hours are limited to a total of 20 hours per week outside of the vacation time. Also, note that during the vacation time, students can with Tier 4 student visa, can work up to a full-time hours (36.5 per week in the university) each week. Check Popular Part-time jobs in UK

Indian applicants seeking admission to Bath University UK are required to meet the requirements given below:

  • UG: The applicants must have passed Class 12. The university make offers on the basis of best of four subjects, with an average of between 75% and 90%, depending on the degree course. A few degree may require specific marks in individual subjects
  • PG: A Bachelor's degree is required. More requirements may be there as per the course
  • PG research: A first class Bachelor's degree and some research experience or a Master's degree with research elements are required
  • English language proficiency tests such as IELTS / TOEFL / PTE / Duolingo.
