Yes, just like other US universities, Georgia College and State University also allows Indian students to defer their admission to the next available intake

In the case of GCSU, it will be the Spring intake if the Fall intake at this university is missed

There are two main intakes offered at Georgia College and State University each academic year and those are Fall and Spring.

The most popular and the the biggest intake at this college is the Fall one. On the other hand, the Spring intakes allows for a smaller secondary entry point.

No, it can not be considered very tough to get into Georgia College as its acceptance rate stands at around 78% in 2024. Look at the observations given below -

  • The GCSU acceptance rate was 88% for the year 2023, which means that it has dipped by 10%.
  • It means that the admissions here are becoming more competitive and selective.

Getting a seat at Deakin Uni is somewhat competitive for Indian students. The Deakin University Australia acceptance rate for Indian students is around 75%. The university does tend to accept applications from students who meet the specific course cutoffs and prove their English proficiency.

Students who don't meet the entry requirements can also get in the university by enrolling in one of it's pathway programmes.
