GBS Malta has an open and student-centred admissions policy. A student's general potential rather than grades is considered important. Yes, the PTE test centres differ largely in terms of slot availability and the frequency with which the exams are conducted. Larger centres in metro cities offer multiple daily slots (sometimes all 5 slots: from 8:00 AM to 7:15 PM), whereas tier 2 cities may have fewer slots available per week.

Yes, stress caused from travel, crowding, poor infrastructure, or technical issues at a centre may impact your concentration and hence, your PTE scores. For this and multiple other reasons, Pearson recommends that each test taker must arrive at the centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled test time.
However, if your test centre is located in another city, then you must plan your travel to the city on the day prior to your PTE exam day.
