German student visa process include imp step as mentioned below for Indian students-
• Step one is getting admission - Get offer letter from German university
• Secondly open blocked account - Give EUR 11,904 which is approximately INR 10.5 L to German blocked account (Fintiba, Expatrio, etc.)
• Thirdly arrange health insurance - Get TK, AOK or other German health insurance
• Forth step is preparing documents - Passport, offer letter, blocked account confirmation, language proof, academic document, SOP, financial document
• Fifth step is to book VFS appointment - Apply through German embassy in your city such as- Delhi, Mumb

Yes there are many English taught programs in Germany for Indian students -
• Availability - 1,500+ PG programs are fully taught in English in Germany
• These are at private universities such as- SRH, Gisma, IU International, Macromedia, EU Business School, etc.
• Some public universities also provide English taught programs in STEM and Business fields

It depends on what type of programme you choose-
• English taught programs (Private Universities)- No German required. Most private German universities offer full PG programs in English. But basic German (A1/A2) is strongly recommended for daily life.
• Public Universities/German-medium programs: German language proficiency is MANDATORY — typically B2 or C1 level (TestDaF or DSH certification)
• German language levels explained: A1 = Basic greetings, B1 = Can understand and communicate in simple situations, B2 = Can handle most situations independently, C1 = A
