Study Abroad

International students residing outside Japan must meet the following requirements to take admission to DHU University:

One of the following requirements:

• Must have completed Class 12 by March 2024 or must be in senior high school
• Must have completed a 12-year curriculum in an educational system or is scheduled to complete such a curriculum by March of the admission year
• The applicant is designated by the Minister of NEXT
• The applicant is recognised as having the academic ability equivalent to or higher than senior high school and will attain the age of 18 years by March of the admission year

Other requirements are:

• The applicants should be eligible to obtain or renew the residence status of the study abroad
• The applicants must have passed level N2 of the Japanese language proficiency test or attained 220 points or more in the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students for the Japanese subject
• The applicants should be staying outside Japan. They must not have any type of status in the residence of Japan
• If the applicant is enrolled in a Japanese institution or have been previously enrolled, the applicants must have an attendance rate of 80% and above

Yes, Digital Hollywood University Tokyo offers full-ride scholarships to international students. Meaning, one scholarship is offered to international students that offers 100% of the tuition fee waiver. The amount of this scholarship is (1,040,000 yen). This is equivalent to INR 6.2 lakh. The period of this scholarship is 4 years. To avail this scholarship, the applicants must meet all the entry requirements. Additionally, they must also submit all the required documents related to the category. The assessment of this scholarship is done on the basis of the following:
