At KFU, students can take part in the student organizations. A few of the student organizations are KFU Union of Students and Postgraduates, the Association of International Students, International Friendships Club, etc. Furthermore, the location where the university is located could be of great significance as KFU is located in the center of the Kazan city. Kazan is the world-known place for international sport and cultural events.

Yes KFU offers on campus housing for international students and students can live in dorms / student residences but the price varies depending on where students stay.
- Old dorms- RUB 670-RUB 1,250 per month
- Universiade Village- RUB 730 – RUB 1,250 per month
Students can also choose to live off campus and the rented apartments have furniture and basic household appliances. The current price range for one room or two room apartments is around INR 16k – INR 22k. Listed of hostels near the university are: STEREO Hostel; Hostel Gart; Hotel Pushkin, Wings Hostel, etc.

While studying at KFU students can live in the dorms of the students campus in the residential buildings of the Universiade Village in apartments and in hostels.
- The Old Dorms has comfortable accommodation of 4 people in the room with sports fields and shops and pharmacies are also there within walking distance.
- Universiade Village is one of the largest student campuses in Russiaa and on the territory of Universiade Village there are sports grounds, a supermarket, a canteen, a post office and the student clinic is within walking distance

The tuition fee for 2024-25 KFU tuition fees around INR 2 Lacs – INR 6 lakh and the MBBS fee is INR 4.17 Lacs for one year while the cost of living around INR 16k – INR 22k per month.
