The application process for TNAU UG admission differs slightly depending on whether the student is a Tamil native or from other states. Those from Tamil Nadu can visit the official website of the university once the board results are out and apply for the programme of choice. The link for counselling will be activated as soon once the board results are announced. For those belonging to states other than Tamil Nadu, the application process is done through the website of ICAR. Interested students can visit the official website of the university to know further.

As per the TNAU Overall NIRF Report 2024, a total of 312 UG (4-year) students were placed during recent 2023 placements. Moreover, The median package offered to UG (4-year) students stood at INR 3.70 LPA. Admission to TNAU PG programs are based on scores of the Entrance exam conducted by the University. However, having not opted for Mathematics in your Class 12th, you are not eligible for pursuing B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering, because it is mandatory to have Mathematics, Physics and chemistry in Class 12 as a main subjects of education.
But there is another option that after you have completed your Class 12th with PCB, you can go for B.Sc. in Agriculture degree course if you are interested .
