Tamil Nadu Agricultural University accepts TANCET scores while considering admissions in MBA courses. The previous year's cut-off has been released and ranges from 75-80 for the open category while it may go lower for SC and OBC, and increase for the BCM category. The expected cut-off for 2024 for admission to TNAU is 38-50 for the Open category. The cut-offs vary for different courses and will be released by the specific universities themselves.

The cut-off released last year by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University was 187.5-183.33 for the General category, 185-172 for BC, and 165 for the SC category in TNEA. The cut-off expected for 2023 has been posted- 190-180 for the General category, 185-170 for BC, and 170 for the SC category. The cut-offs can vary depending on the average score in the year by the students. The expected cut-offs can increase as well as decrease as per the performance.

Yes, you can easily get admission into Tamil Nadu Agricultural University for B.Tech with 70% in TNEA. TNEA's full mark is 300 and scoring 210, which is 70% of 300, is sufficient enough to get admission. Last year's cut-off released by TNAU was 190-180 for the General category, 190-170 for BC, and 165 for the SC category. Although, the exact cut-off can differ depending on the average score that year.

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University is not at all expensive. The courses provided require fees as less as 18k as well. It depends on which course you select. The university offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Diploma courses in various disciplines. The fees differ from one to another. While some courses touch 3 lacs, some courses can be covered in amounts as minimum as 20k. The living cost at TNAU also ranges from 10k to 15k making it cost-efficient.

The fees for the course range from 36k to 3.32Lacs with an additional amount of one-time payment during the process of admission. Apart from the fees for the course, the expenses of living in the hostel for students range from 9k to 10k. These are the fees for hostels of the university which provide meals for 3k rupees. In totality, a B.Tech at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University may cost a student 45k to 3.43Lacs.

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University has some top recruiters of the country visiting for placement rounds from Axis Bank, KPN Farms Fresh to AES Technologies. As per reports, the average placement packages have also increased every year resulting in a good streak. The placements at TMAU scale from INR 3.62 LPA to INR 5.32 LPA in different courses and disciplines. The medium package for UG courses is defined as INR 3.60 LPA and for PG courses INR 4.20 LPA. The students have also received at maximum of INR 7 LPA in placement rounds and as the lowest as INR 2.4 LPA, making the university an good for placements.

The University has maintained a decent placement record. As per the NIRF report 2024, out of 1382 UG (4-year) graduates 312 were placed during the 2023 drive.
