Yes the degree offered by Cental University of Tamil Nadu is valid. It is a NAAC Grade B + grade university. It is recognised by UGC and AIU and ranks 51 among universities in India by National Institution Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2002. It is a renowned university. And one of the top universities in India. It accepts various exams like CUCET, UGC & CSIR JRF.

There is no doubt that Central University of Tamil Nadu is a regular college.It offers various couses in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels, all of them are full time courses. But it offers some distance courses also. Like, management distance couse, law distance education, teaching distance education, etc.

As per the university guidelines, candidates seeking admission in CUTN for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels must go through Central University Common Entrance Test (CUET).

There is no root of direct admission. You must be giving the CUET exam with good score to get into Central University of Tamil Nadu.

National Institution Rank Framework, NIRF, placed it among 51 Indian universities in 2002.It is situated in Thiruvarur, Tamil Nadu, India. By the government of Tamil Nadu this university got 516.67 acers of land in 2 revenue village (Neelakudu and Nagakudi). At Neelakudi village is has its academic campus of 412.03 acres and residential campus in Nagakudi village of 104.73 acres. And overall this university comes under rural area.

The nearest railway station from this university is at a distance of 3.96 kms, VRK (virkudi) station.

TVR (Thiruvarur) JN is at a distance of 4.58 kms.

KU (Kilukarai) JN is at a distance of 5.5 kms.

 CUTN, the Central University of Tamil Nadu offers different masters courses in a variety of specialisations. M.Tech (Master of Technology) is of them. This course has 3 specializations as follows:

M.Tech in material science
M.Tech in computer science
M.Tech in energy and environmental technology
All three specialisations is 2 year degree, off campus. And exam accepted for there couses are CUET PG. The minimum marks for admission is 60% for general category, 55% for obc and 50% for st/sc candidates.

  CUTN, University is a NAAC grade B+ university. There are various Masters' courses offered by the university but MA is the premier one. It is a two year master of arts degree offering 16 courses. MA is available in various specializations like English, economics, history, TAMIL, HINDI, QUANTITATIVE APPLIED FINANCE, GENERAL ECONOMICS,ENVIRONMENTAL ECONOMICS, FINANCIAL ECONOMIS,ACTUARIAL ECONOMIS. There are two year degrees also available in all these courses. And the examination CUET PG is accepted for those specializations.
