Most of the seats are reserved for Tamil Nadu students, I can say around 65-70% of the seats are for Tamil Nadu students who wish to pursue B.Tech in SASTRA.

Almost difficult, but you should give a try at the time of counselling because NIT-Trichy and Surathkal are filled with top rankers. You can predict other possible colleges here:

You should go for chemical engineering branch at Amrita Visha Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. This is a very good college in terms of placement, infrastructure and faculty members.

Pavan Kumar

Guide-Level 11

Hi Pavan,
Admissions are given as follows,
1) 70% of seats given by considering JEE percentile and +2 marks
2) 30% of seats by considering only +2 marks. As you meet the eligibility of SASTRA you'll get a chance in IT, it's more difficult to get CSE.
Anyway, try for this in counselling.

Sastra is a good institution for B.Tech in branches.
IT is also a good branch in SASTRA. You can go ahead with IT as it has very good placements as the companies which approach the institute are IT based (most of them).
Hopefully, this answers your question.
Thank you.

Hi,
As you have scored 74 percentage in class 12th board and your JEE Mains score is 178. Therefore, you are eligible to get computer science engineering or electronics and communication engineering in this college. I will suggest you to select CSE first and ECE in second position. In addition, you can predict your other possible colleges here:
