Not a big problem, learn Chemistry step wise, just strenghthen your basics. Physical Chemistry is gonna be quite difficult for you to learn, just take your time and ensure that you understand. It's better to go with CSE in VIT, Vellore, as VIT is the top private college and even the placements are really good when compared to other colleges.

However experience of previous years shows that if seats are lying vacant then students from outside the state can get admission particularly in private colleges.
