TANCET participating colleges do not release a cutoff score or a cutoff rank. Participating colleges prepare a cutoff score list or last rank list to select candidates for admission. However, this list is not released before the admission process is closed. Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, releases the TANCET cutoff rank as well as the TANCET cutoff marks for all participating colleges in a consolidated list. The cutoff report for admission based on TANCET is released with the counselling details of the upcoming session. Dear Viswanathan, last year TANCET cut off was 30 for PSG institute and other best colleges, it was 35.5 this year also the same. All the best. Hope you will get best college.

TANCET is not eligible at this year. Yes, scholarships also provided form non TN students but it depends on management. Placement is always good and available for all specialization individually. The total fee will be Rs 260000/- for 2 years.

Scholarship might be based on your performance in GDPI. TANCET cut-off differ from year to year. If your rank is within top 100, you can expect PSGIM as you are general category student.
