Hello Sobana Rani. M.Ed. Programme, designed and developed jointly by the Distance Education Council (DEC) and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is a two-year programme. It is aimed at developing a global and a national vision for education in the modern concept. Being a professional programme, it focuses on comprehensive and integrated professional development of teachers and other personnel engaged in education. The programme is on offer since January 2009. It comprises 17 courses (dissertation being equal to two courses). Admission to the M.Ed. Programme is made through entrance test conducted at all India level. At present M.Ed programme is not on offer due to NCTE Gazette Notification appeared. Exam related details: Here the candidate must fill the preference of UGC NET EXAM Centre. Again, the subject he/she is applying for and the role they want to opt I. e. assistant professor or JRF. Permanent address: It includes candidates residential / domicile address. Educational qualification: here candidate needs to fill up details such as subject of post-graduation exam, status of post-graduation (passed/ appearing), university name from which he /she is pursuing PG, year of passing post-graduation, status of M.Phil and Ph.D. (passed/ appearing/ not appearing), etc. Password generation: Here candidates need to create their password so that it may help in login further. Security pin: Here candidate need to fill up the security pin given on the page. These are the essential details which a candidate needs to fill while applying for UGC NET examination.
