Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MEd in North Eastern Hill University
Candidate seeking admission for M.Ed Programme should have obtained at least 50% marks equivalent grade in the following programmes:
(i) B.Ed
(ii) BA B.Ed, B.Sc B.Ed.
(iii) D.El.Ed with an undergraduate degree (with 50% mark

Hi,
You can do commerce with Economics, as it is a more specialized course, language will help mostly, if you want to go outside India. But, communication with Economics will get you better jobs in India.

If you want to be a school teacher, you can go for B.Ed, and if you want to be a lecturer you continue for MA.

You do not need to have Teaching Experience to do B.Ed - for Regular Classroom Course. If you want to pursue B.Ed through correspondence, then you should be working in some school or /and you should have experience of two years.
