Hello, There are two Papers in UGC NET exam I.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is common for all the subject whereas Paper 2 is based on the subject that you choose to appear in the exam. A total of 150 questions asked in the exam (50 from Paper 1 and 100 from Paper 2). Two marks will be awarded for each answer. There will be no negative marking. In UGC NET Paper 1, 5 questions will be asked from each Unit. So, this is the marking scheme of the UGC NET Exam. Hello Amrit, If you are interested in lectureship or research, or want to apply for higher studies, then apply for UGC NET exam. UGC NET exam is held for various 84 subjects in commerce, arts music, language and many more. UGC NET exam is held twice a year in June and December. After qualifying the exam, you can apply for assistant professor post or JRF. The post graduate candidates can apply for the exam. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for UGC NET is post graduation degree. There is no age limit for assistant professor (NET lectureship) while for JRF candidates must be below 30 years old. After qualifying the NET exam you will get opportunity as follows:
