Yes, you are eligible to appear in the UGC NET Exam. The exam is separately conducted in two different aspects one is for Science stream candidates as CSIR NET and other one is conducted for all the other stream like Management, Law, Language as NTA UGC NET. As you have completed your Post Graduation from the Science stream i.e. veterinary, you are eligible to appear in CSIR NET. You can appear for CSIR NET Life Science. CSIR NET Exam is conducted twice in a year in the month of June and December. For June session, the exam is going to be conducted on 16th June 2019.

According to the NTA guidelines, aspirants have to choose the same or the related subject in which they have completed their post-graduation. The Age limit for the UGC NET Exam is divided into two criteria:
1. JRF: 30 years is the maximum age limit and 3-5 years age relaxation is given to the category candidat

According to the NET exam guidelines you can apply for the exam in the subject which you had in post-graduation or related to that. Therefore, you are not eligible for UGC NET Electronic Science. However, you can appear for CSIR NET exam. This exam is organized for the science stream candidates who want to become researcher or lecturer. CSIR NET is conducted in five subjects. As per your post-graduation subject, you can apply for the physical science. However, make sure, you fulfill the eligibility criteria of CSIR NET Physical Sciences.
