Hello Pakeeza, No, you are not eligible for Sociology because you have completed your Masters in Human resource, so you can appear in UGC NET Management or HR. Besides this eligibility you need to fulfil the other criteria too. NTA divides the eligibility criteria into two parts:
1. The educational criteria I. e. to secure minimum 55% (General category) or 50% (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender) in your Post Graduation.
2. Along with the educational qualification criteria, you must fulfil the age criteria I. e. The maximum age limit to appear for JRF is 30 years (general category), 33years LL. Yes, you are eligible to appear for the NTA UGC NET under Commerce subject. As per the rules of the NTA candidates who have qualified or qualifying their Post-Graduation are eligible to appear in the UGC NET Exam. The minimum qualifying marks in Post-graduation is 55% (general) and 50% (other-category)

As per the new notification, exam pattern of the exam is also changed, which is as follows;
Paper-1 consist of 50 questions for 100 marks in 60 minutes
Paper-2 consist of 100 questions for 200 marks in120 minutes.
