A Diploma, in some cases, is accepted to do a degree but in this case, I do not expect that without the Graduation thing, you can fulfil that criteria to do a B.Ed. ODL from IGNOU. If you have done a Bachelors Degree then you can apply for the admission process.

B.Ed is better. Bachelor of Education or B.Ed. is an undergraduate programme of 2-year duration. The course specifically caters to the students who are interested in pursuing career in teaching and related fields. It isa skill based training programme which imparts knowledge to students regarding all aspects of classroom teaching. To become a successful professional in teaching field, one should has a minimum qualification in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). After completing B.Ed, you have a lot of scope to get job in private as well as government schools with a good salary package.

The eligibility criteria of B.Ed distance education course is elaborated below: -
The applicants must have at least 50% marks in Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Arts, Science, Commerce and Engineering streams in order to apply for distance B.Ed course. Candidates who wish to take up distance B.Ed must be trained in-service teachers in elementary education. Candidates who have completed teacher education programme recognised by NCTE in a face-to-face mode are also eligible to apply. Admission Process
Entrance Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for the Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Test conducted by the Centre for Distance and Open Learning (CDOL).
Counselling
Admission is through counseling based on the marks obtained in Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Test.

For B.Ed, the last date for submitting the admission form was 21st February 2019 and the last date for completing all admission formalities was 28th February 2019.
For B.Ed admission, an entrance test was conducted on February 24, 2019, at Jamia Mila Islamia campus.
